Types of Skin Cancer

Melanoma

Mohs Surgery

Mohs surgery involves the precise removal of cancerous tissue layer by layer. Each layer is then inspected under a microscope to ensure complete removal of the cancer. Cryosurgery

This minimally invasive procedure involves freezing and destroying abnormal cells with liquid nitrogen. Excision

Photodynamic Therapy (PDT) 

This innovative treatment combines a light-sensitive medication with a specialized light source to target and destroy cancer cells. PDT is often used for precancerous conditions, superficial skin cancers, and certain types of acne. It offers a non-invasive alternative to surgery with minimal downtime.

Topical Medications 

Certain creams or ointments containing chemotherapy drugs or immune-modulating agents can effectively treat superficial skin cancers or precancerous growths. These topical medications are applied directly to the affected area and work by destroying cancer cells or stimulating the immune system to fight them.
