Ayat Aborahma, MPAS, PA-C, grew up in Plano, TX where she attended the University of Texas at Dallas and obtained her Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary studies. She worked as a certified dermatology technician/medical assistant prior to attending the University of Texas Medical Branch, where she earned her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies.
Ayat is board certified by the National Commission on Certification for Physician Assistants and is licensed by the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners. She has a background in men’s health, primary care, wellness, and aesthetics. She has attended various dermatology conferences, such as the Dermatology Refresher Symposium and Dermatology Therapeutics Symposium, to continue learning about her true passion. Ayat’s journey in dermatology began in middle school, where personal struggles with acne ignited a profound interest in skincare and various treatment modalities. At Houston Skin, she is excited to apply her expertise and compassion to create customized treatment plans for her patients.
In her free time, Ayat enjoys trying new restaurants, fitness classes, and traveling.
