Dr. Mays is a Dual-Board Certified Cosmetic Dermatologist and voted TOP injector every year. During her Dermatology training at Baylor College of Medicine (voted top 10 procedural dermatology training programs), she served as residency cosmetic director under the direction of renowned laser expert Dr. Ramsey Markus. Dr. Mays travels nationally to lecture on cosmetic injectables and the newest anti-aging modalities. She has extensive training in Cosmetic Dermatology procedures such as injectables, Neurotoxins (Botox, Xeomin, Dysport), Dermal fillers, Sculptra, PRP facelift, PRP skin restoration, Deep and medium chemical peels, ablative and non-ablative laser, and specifically formulated prescription strength anti-aging products. Dr. Mays has authored numerous publications in cosmetic dermatology and has served as main investigator in pivotal cosmetic trials including kybella, medical grade skin products, dermal fillers, and neuromodulators (Botox, Dysport, Xoemin).

 Dr. Mays also serves on numerous company advisory boards helping develop new cosmetic injectables and treatments into the market. She believes strongly in proper assessment and evaluation of the skin and anatomy as the first step if proper cosmetic improvement.  Her approach is early intervention, natural correction, and concomitant prevention. Traditionally aesthetic medicine has involved non- dermatologist assessments (such as mid-level providers, aestheticians, store clerks, instagram influences) without proper medical knowledge and expertise in the skin. Additionally, traditional aesthetics only addresses the skin surface imperfections without targeting the cause. Dr. Mays believes cosmetic evaluation of the skin should only be trusted to a core physician such as a Board Certified Dermatologist. After proper assessment, Dr. Mays incorporates the most advanced techniques and research to provide the best modality for both correction and prevention with long-term results in mind. During your cosmetic evaluation ,Dr. Mays will thoroughly examine your skin, face and neck and go over your assessment and customized cosmetic treatment plan in detail which can include numerous modalities such as injections, devices, topicals and oral treatments.
